A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a rare leukemia diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
News of her death was shared in a public statement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Insight into the Condition
Within a personal essay this past fall, it was shared that she had been found to have acute myeloid leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.
This condition is a cancer that targets the bone marrow and blood cells.
